Inspired by nature, ICITY Mountain design focuses on providing local children and families with state-of-the-art learning facilities, focusing on igniting the curiosity within children, to enhance learning naturally. Emphasizing Egypt Learning Group vision for the school to be the leading educational school in 6th of October city, the school is designed at an area of 4,452m2.
The project's scope of work consists of a 3-storey international school located in 6th of October city in Mountain View – ICITY, Egypt. The School is expected to accommodate 1,700 students with 80 classrooms (which can accommodate 20 – 25 students), 15 activity rooms and will have a pre-KG nursery. The LEEDS school is equipped with the necessary tools for recreational activities with 2 sports hall buildings that accommodates 8 sports courts and one large football field in addition to 2 swimming pools and a gymnasium. The school also includes administrative offices, 8 laboratories, 2 apple labs, 2 libraries, 2 clinics, conference hall and a theater.
The project is divided into several stages: 1- design stage, 2- tendering stage and 3- site supervision stage. Concerning these stages, BECT provided the following consultancy / design services: Survey & Geotechnical, Landscape, Architectural, Structural, MEP, Specifications and BOQ.
